The Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Main Stadium (“Big Lotus”) is an architectural landmark featuring an innovative spatial steel structure formed by 28 dynamic petal-shaped cantilever trusses. Utilizing approximately 28,000 metric tons of high-strength structural steel, this 80,000-seat megastructure achieves a lightweight yet extremely rigid spatial frame. The project highlights advanced 3D spatial pipe bending, high-precision CNC fabrication, complex multi-planar node welding, and 100% NDT-certified quality control.
